Known Issues
Error Messages in Visual Studio IDE
Known Issue in Visual Studio when used with GPT-5.3-codex, GPT-5.4, and GPT-5.5
Microsoft has introduced a configuration change to Visual Studio to prevent instability with certain products.
Users may observe an error message appearing in their Visual Studio IDE, when a Prompt is routed to a WitnessAI Guardrail that triggers a block, warning, or routing message. When this occurs, the prompt will not be submitted. This behavior may also be reflected in the WitnessAI console.
Today's release neither introduces nor resolves this issue. We are actively working on a hotfix and will deploy it as soon as possible.
